Oral History and Folklife Research Inc, is dedicated to preserving the stories, recollections and voices of Maine people, events and movements. The varied and multitudinous voices retelling and remembering Maine’s unique way of life, language and history will strengthen our connection with the past and enable us to better understand the events that have shaped the state. Oral history is an effective means for exploring the forces that change our communities. We explore history through recorded interviews that preserve an interviewee’s memories and experience; and their perspective on history.
Keith Ludden is an oral historian, radio journalist and folklorist, and has conducted fieldwork in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Indiana. He served as the traditional arts coordinator for the Maine Arts Commission, and is an M.A graduate of Western Kentucky University.
Molly Graham is an oral historian, radio producer and archivist with archival and field experience in Massachusetts and Maine. She served as Oral Historian for the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. Molly holds an M.A. in Library Science and is a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
