Giving Voice To History and Preserving Treasures

Oral History Processing / Transcription and Archival Preservation

Oral History and Folklife Research assists families and communities in processing oral history materials, organizing and archiving them to make them easily accessible to the community. We can transcribe existing interviews for paper archives, provided the sound quality and physical integrity of the medium (open reel tape, cassette, digital mediums) is sound. Transcriptions can serve as a valuable backup to recordings.

Call 207-458-1377, or email for a consultation.
